These new funds are powering AI, energy infrastructure, power grids, circular economy, and biosciences, among other areas.

  • China-based Lanchi Ventures launched a $560M dual-currency Fund IV to invest in early-stage deep tech in China via its RMB vehicle and globally competitive AI and frontier technologies via its USD vehicle.
  • US-based Eclipse Ventures raised $1.3B across two funds to invest in early- and growth-stage physical AI startups spanning hardware, manufacturing, robotics, and industrial systems.
  • UK-based Eka Ventures closed a €91.5M Fund II (~$107M) to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage startups across health, sustainability, and life sciences, targeting impact-driven innovations.
  • Canada-based Evok Innovations is raising a $400M climate fund to invest in growth-stage climate startups, addressing the scale-up funding gap beyond early-stage innovation.
  • Singapore-based Circulate Capital secured a $220M first close for Asia Fund II to invest in circular economy infrastructure across South and Southeast Asia, scaling recycling capacity and waste management solutions.
  • Asian Development Bank launched a $25M Regional Connectivity Fund to support early-stage cross-border power grid projects across Southeast Asia, accelerating regional grid integration and energy security.
  • Spain-based Ysios Capital launched a €100M InceptionBio fund to invest in early-stage biotech company creation from academic research, supporting spinouts through preclinical development.

Top Climate Tech Funding Rounds

The past two weeks saw major funding flow into EVs, earth observation, high-performance materials, alternative proteins, and more.

  • 🚗 US, Troy-based Slate Auto closed a $650M Series C round led by TWG Global to scale production of affordable, customizable electric vehicles ahead of commercial deliveries in 2026.
  • 🛰️ Spain, Madrid-based Xoople closed a $130M Series B round from Nazca Capital, MCH, Endeavor, and others to scale its geospatial data infrastructure platform, enabling enterprise access to real-time physical-world intelligence for supply chains, agriculture, insurance, and urban planning.
  • 🛰️ US, Tukwila-based Starfish Space closed a $100M Series B round led by Point72 Ventures, Activate Capital, Shield Capital, and others to scale its satellite servicing missions, including life extension and in-orbit servicing for geostationary and low Earth orbit satellites.
  • 💡 US, Santa Clara-based nEye.ai closed an $80M Series C round backed by CapitalG and M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund to scale silicon photonics-based optical switching, reducing power consumption and heat in AI data centers.
  • ⚡ Denmark-based Subra closed a $46.6M Series A round led by Novo Holdings, with participation from Maj Invest and SPRIND, to advance superconducting cable technology and acquire Theva Dünnschichttechnik GmbH, strengthening high-performance materials for next-generation energy systems.
  • 🔥 Australia-based Graphite Energy Pty Ltd secured $40M in funding, including a $15M loan from Catalytic Impact Capital Pty Ltd and a $25M equity investment, to scale deployment of renewable-powered thermal energy storage systems, replacing fossil fuel boilers with zero-carbon industrial heat.
  • ⛏️ Canada, Vancouver-based pH7 Technologies secured $39M in total funding, including a $32M Series B round and venture debt from RBCx, with backing from Asahi Kasei, Circular Innovation Fund, BHP Ventures, and others to scale critical mineral extraction from low-grade ores, tailings, and recycled feedstocks.
  • 🏗️ US, Houston-based NanoTech Materials closed a $29.4M Series A round led by HPI Real Estate Services & Investments with participation from GOOSE Capital and Milliken & Company to scale advanced coating materials that reduce heat transfer in buildings and infrastructure.
  • 🔋 UK-based Altilium Clean Technology secured $25M in government funding to build the UK’s first large-scale EV battery recycling facility, recovering critical minerals like lithium, nickel, and graphite for domestic battery supply chains.
  • 🐟 Kenya-based Victory Farms secured a $15M follow-on investment from AgDevCo to scale tilapia production and distribution, supporting sustainable protein supply and food systems across East Africa.
