- 🌍 Mars, Incorporated launched the Mars Impact Fund with an initial $85M allocation for 2025–2027 and a $50M annual commitment from 2028 onwards to support community resilience, scientific opportunity, and companion animal wellbeing.

- 🏭US, Scotts Valley-based Heron Power closed a $140M Series B round from Andreessen Horowitz and Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and others to build a 40GW U.S. manufacturing facility for its solid-state transformer solution enabling faster, software-defined grid, solar, storage, and AI data center integration.
- 💡🏙️ Florida-based Ubicquia, Inc raised $106M in a Series D round led by 67 Capital and Marunouchi Innovation Partners, with participation from Hamilton Lane, ClearSky, and GMS, to scale its AI-powered smart grid, intelligent lighting, and infrastructure analytics platforms for utilities and cities worldwide.

- 🔋🏍️ Kenya-based SPIRO raised $50M in debt financing from African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), Nithio, and Africa Go Green Fund (managed by Cygnum Capital) to expand its electric motorcycle battery-swapping network and advance its clean mobility technology platform across the continent.
