  • Spain-based Suma Capital has closed a $275M continuation fund to accelerate the growth of Grupo Gestcompost, a leading platform in the biogas and biomethane sector.
  • The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and Schroders Greencoat have together announced a new private markets fund, with $242M initial capital, focused on investing in energy transition infrastructure assets across Europe.
  • Germany, Berlin-based Revent VC launches $110M fund II for early stage European companies focused on societal and planetary health.
  • Singapore-based ABC Impact closed their fund II at over $600M focused on climate resilience, healthcare innovation, financial inclusion, and impact investing in Asia.

Top Climate Tech Funding Rounds

From sustainable home energy solutions to waste management services, these were the most significant funding rounds from last two weeks:

  • 🔋US, Austin-based Base Power Company, raised $200M in a Series B round to provide home energy service powered by distributed batteries.
  • 🏠Germany, Berlin-based Enpal secured $110M in a growth equity round to supply green energy tech like solar panels and batteries to households.
  • 🚗US, Mountain View-based Nuro closed a $106M Series E round to scale its AI software and automotive-grade hardware to enable autonomous driving.
  • 💻UK, London-based NexGen Cloud secured a $45M Series A round for global expansion of high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU (graphics processing unit) cloud infrastructure.
  • ♻️Denmark, Copenhagen-based BioCirc raised a $44M Series A round to produce green energy in the form of electricity, gas, e-fuels, and heat through integrated circular energy clusters.
  • 🌐Canada, Vancouver-based Corinex raised $30M in a late VC round to accelerate its expansion in standardizing and delivering real-time grid flexibility and visibility solutions.
  • 🔁France, Paris-based Fairmat raised $56.5M in a series B round consisting of debt and equity financing to scale its industrial operations in carbon composite recycling.
  • 🚮Korea, Seoul-based RECO, closed a $40M Series C round to improve the quality and sophistication of its waste management services and expand its services to the global market.
  • 🔥Netherlands, Rotterdam-based Gradyent secured $30.2M in a Series B round to make heating and cooling systems more efficient and smarter with their digital twin platform.
  • 💼France, Paris-based WeeFin closed a $27M Series B round to help financial institutions manage their sustainability strategies and strengthen their international presence.
