- 🌾Vitamin°C reached the first close of its debut climate fund at €18M (~$20M), to back pre-seed and seed-stage startups working on climate mitigation and adaptation across energy, food and agriculture, carbon removal, and human resilience.

⚡ Carbon Equity closed its Climate Tech Portfolio Fund II at €30M, to invest in 150+ climate tech companies across Europe and Africa, spanning energy, industry, food and land use, transport, buildings, and the carbon economy.
- ⚡ Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s 1GT led a €49M Series E round for Amber Electric, to support the energy flexibility platform’s expansion across Europe and its work optimizing residential batteries, rooftop solar, and EVs.
- 🛡️ 360 ONE Asset raised its Defence and Space Fund at $160M, to back Indian defense and aerospace companies across defense electronics, earth observation, electronic warfare, counter-drone systems, AI, and other dual-use technologies.
- 🤖 Project Ventures launched its debut fund at £5M (~$6.8M), to back pre-seed and seed-stage deeptech and AI startups across robotics, healthcare, climate, energy, and advanced manufacturing.
- 🔄 Bee Alternatives closed its seventh secondaries fund at over $150M, to acquire stakes in private equity funds and companies, providing liquidity to investors across global private markets.
- 💻 NewSchool VC closed its maiden fund at €10M, to back pre-seed and seed-stage B2B technology startups across AI, SaaS, cybersecurity, robotics, and compliance.
- 🌡️ BlueOrchard received a $33M commitment from FinDev Canada, as part of the fund’s $250M first close, to provide climate finance to financial institutions and companies across emerging and frontier markets.
- 🔬 Connect Ventures reached the first close of its fifth fund at $55M, targeting $80M to back early-stage technology companies across Europe, with a focus on technical founders building in areas including AI, infrastructure, hardware, robotics, and biotech.
Top Climate Tech Funding Rounds
The past two weeks saw major funding flow into battery systems, semiconductors, geothermal technology, rare earth minerals, and EV production, amongst others.
🔋 US-based Form Energy secured $270M in a credit facility arranged by Barclays, with participation from Citi, Jefferies, JPMorganChase, RBC Capital Markets, Societe Generale, Stifel Financial Corp. and Wells Fargo, to support manufacturing scale-up and working capital needs for its 100-hour iron-air battery systems.
🖥️ Netherlands-based EUCLYD raised over $235M in a Series A round co-led by Samsung, Somerset Capital Partners, EQT’s Scaleup Europe Fund and Innovation Industries, with participation from EIFO, imec.xpand and BOM, to accelerate its ultra-efficient AI chips, systems and data center infrastructure.
♻️ Germany-based Metycle secured a $150M credit facility from Rivonia Road Capital to finance larger transactions and scale the sourcing and supply of recycled copper and aluminum for industrial buyers and smelters
🧬 UK-based Basecamp Research raised $140M in an oversubscribed Series C round led by S32, with participation from NVIDIA, Menlo Ventures’ Anthology Fund, Catalio Capital Management and others, to advance its AI-designed therapeutics pipeline, starting with in vivo cell therapy, and expand pharmaceutical partnerships.
🌋 US-based Mazama Energy raised $135M in a Series B round led by Centaurus Capital and Doerr Capital, with participation from ConocoPhillips, Shell Ventures, Khosla Ventures and others, to accelerate the commercial development of its superhot rock geothermal technology
💧 US-based Rainmaker Technology Corporation raised $100M in a Series B round from NOA VC, Upfront Ventures, DCVC, Lowercarbon Capital and Dream Ventures to expand its cloud seeding technology and scale atmospheric water production.
🏍️ India-based Ultraviolette Automotive raised $85M in a Series E round led by Yali Capital and TDK Ventures, with participation from Lip-Bu Tan and existing investors, to scale EV production, develop next-generation electric vehicle platforms and expand internationally.
♻️ Canada-based Kanin Energy raised $60M in a Series A round from S2G Investments and Canada Growth Fund to scale its waste heat-to-power and on-site power projects across North America.
⚛️ Finland-based Steady Energy secured up to $46M in financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB), to advance the development, testing and licensing of its heat-only small modular reactor technology.
⚡ US-based Rune raised $40M in a Series A round led by Spark Capital, with participation from Union Square Ventures, Lowercarbon Capital, Activate Capital and others, to deploy modular AI compute systems directly at solar energy sites.
