Connecting Claude to Net Zero Insights
Nine steps, about a minute. You add the connector in Claude’s settings and sign in with your Net Zero Insights account.
A Claude account (web or desktop app) and your Net Zero Insights login. No developer access or API key needed.
Open Settings
In Claude on the web or in the desktop app, click your profile picture and open Settings.

In the Settings sidebar, find Connectors. It sits under the Customize heading — Customize is a group label, not something you click.
Add a custom connector
Click Add, then choose Add custom connector.
Enter the connector details
Give it a name and paste the connector URL, then click Add. Leave the OAuth Client ID and Secret blank — the server registers a client for you.

Continue past the server check
Claude checks the server and pre-fills the next step with what it finds. Click Continue.

Confirm the authentication settings
Authentication should be Always required, and OAuth client should be “No client ID — register one automatically”. Both are detected for you.
Sign in
Sign in with your Net Zero Insights credentials. This authorises MCP access; it does not open the Net0 Platform.

Review the requested access and click Allow.

Set tool permissions
Choose Always allow so Claude can use the connector’s tools without asking every time.
Type “Use Net Zero Insights” in any prompt.
